Reengineered. Reopened. Relaunched. Game on.
Coffee Dream Gensan is once again ready to take on competition.
Opened with much hoopla fifteen years ago
This time around, the ambience is minimalist but modern
No frills. No clutter. No stress.
They also rebooted their menu offerings
Their non-coffee based chilled blends all looked delicious
And the Tuna and Corned Beef Sandwiches are so inviting
They will have to wait till my next visit
I tried their Triple-layered Choco-moist cake
Eating this mini-cake was a blast
It tasted so creamy and its sweetness was so subtle
I didn’t even realized I consumed it in less than two minutes
With my cappuccino, it was pure bliss
Ria ordered the Mocha Cake which looked ordinary to me
But hell no it’s not even close to being a plain cake
Now here’s a mocha cake that really taste like one
The icing doesn’t have that umay after-taste
And it tasted “full” and not ampaw-like
I always love my Coffee Latte
But I opted for a mean cappuccino
I was not disappointed
The milk froth tasted sweet
I particularly like their espresso|milk blend
I give it a five-star rating
“I have always been fond of the slight burnt smell of brewed coffee beans and the taste of an excellently-made cup of coffee. The vision soon gave birth to what is now…”
